Who do you primarily task out to research and report on specific issues? For many those tasks usually fall to your younger employees. So if the youth are increasingly influencing decision makers why not tap into that youthful knowledge and outlook?
When was the last time you asked your junior employees what they thought of issues, markets or business operations? A successful business takes into account all points of view and typically results in stronger, sound judgments.
The next time you ask for information on a certain topic from a junior employee, ask for a short summary of how they interpret that information. You never know, they might have thought of something you haven’t considered yet.
