Hearth Place came to us looking for a warm and welcoming website that would not be overwhelming for their visitors: Primarily those diagnosed with cancer or family/friends of someone who has been diagnosed with cancer, Visitors making a donation or purchasing tickets to a fundraising event. This client required: an accessible calendar the ability to sell event tickets and functionality to issue tax receipts immediately to online donors.

In partnership with the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario, this client (OLTA.ca) came to us to build an accessible responsive WordPress website to deliver an initiative called Discovering Ontario’s Land Trusts. This website was to highlight awareness that Ontario’s Land Trusts and Conservation Partners were aware of their obligations under the Accessibility for Ontario’s with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), and to promote and grow accessible recreational outdoor and educational opportunities offered to the public through the conservation properties and programs.
